Explicava Careri que a cidade descoberta pelos vagares dos artistas é uma cidade líquida, um líquido amniótico onde se formam de um modo espontâneo os espaços outros (2003, p. 21). Desta afirmação depreende-se que a cidade estudada à luz da investigação artística é uma cidade fenoménica, que deverá ser mencionada no plural resistindo assim uma definição singular.

Em Bilbao os andaimes fazem já parte do panorama atual da cidade aparecendo como uma segunda pele dos edifícios ao interromperem com a materialidade das construções. Se por um lado eles alteram a cartografia da cidade por outro lado permitem-nos ler a cidade como um texto tridimensional em constante mutação.
Na busca por esta construção da paisagem urbana dependente da inconstância dos elementos que lhe dá origem assumi o imaginário cartográfico e o mapa (enquanto notação) numa dimensão performativa.
In Bilbao, scaffolding is already part of the city’s current panorama, appearing as a second skin of the buildings by interrupting the materiality of the constructions. If on the one hand they alter the city’s cartography, on the other hand they allow us to read the city as a three-dimensional text. constantly changing.
In the search for this construction of the urban landscape dependent on the inconstancy of the elements that give rise to it, I took on the cartographic imaginary and the map (as notation) in a performative dimension.
